About Us
The Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC) program allows taxpayers to donate up to $1,700 to our Lutheran Federal SGO to help provide scholarships for families wanting a quality, Christian education.
Who We Are: The LFSGO is a Scholarship Granting Organization is an approved SGO to manage the EFTC program. We work with various Lutheran and other Christian schools to provide scholarships for qualifying students. We also have a General Fund available for those wanting to support families regardless of the school.
The Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization of Indiana also manages the Indiana State SGO program. Both the State and Federal SGO programs are organized under one 501(c)3. Our Federal EIN is 45-4856406.
The Lutheran SGO is a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.
Who we Work With: The LFSGO is open to any accredited Christian school with the ability to award State and/or Federal SGO scholarships in Indiana that share our Christian faith and values. See our List of Schools.
